Increasing Production in Wet Season

Indonesian is placed in 2 seasons, dry season and wet season. Commonly dry season is 4 until 6 month a year and wet season is 5 until 8 month a year. Mostly coal mining operation is open pit and one of the big challenge for open pit is weather, wet weather.

 

Now, weather is unpredictable due to global warming, not like 5 or 10 years ago, wet season is come on September until February. This condition will make Mine Plan to revise their delay plan due to wet season or weather season (rain delay and slippery).

 

Historical data is really required to support Mine Plan to decide the decision of Plan. They want their plan has good accuration number so production forecast can be achieved. Rain delay, slippery delay fo delay needs to be reported more detail, how long, when it starts, when it stops and how big the rainfall is.
